Editorial standard

Source before signal

RawRadar exists to make precious-metals information easier to inspect, not harder to question. We organize every market explanation around observation, interpretation, uncertainty, and general education.

Source hierarchy

We prefer original regulatory releases, government datasets, exchange or benchmark documentation, issuer filings, fund prospectuses, and directly attributable institutional research. Industry bodies are identified as such. Secondary reporting can provide context but does not silently become primary evidence.

Each published analysis stores the source title, publisher, URL, access date, and the claim or context it supports. Time-sensitive data is labeled with an “as of” time. Forecasts are labeled as forecasts.

Review and independence

The maker of an article, script, dataset, chart, or video cannot be its sole approver. Publication requires factual, editorial, rights, and compliance review proportionate to the subject. Named securities, performance claims, tax or IRA explanations, trade instructions, price targets, and sponsored content require heightened review and may require outside professional review.

Prohibited shortcuts

  • No guaranteed, risk-free, can't-lose, secret, insider, or regulatory-approval claims.
  • No fabricated live values, scarcity, credentials, testimonials, subscriber counts, or results.
  • No personalized allocation, suitability, or buy/sell instruction derived from user circumstances.
  • No selective performance record that hides losing calls, costs, assumptions, or material limitations.
  • No undisclosed sponsorship, affiliate compensation, issuer payment, dealer relationship, or author position.

AI and synthetic media

AI may assist research organization and production, but it cannot approve its own work and cannot serve as evidence. Radar is always presented as a fictional character. We do not clone a real person's voice, likeness, biography, credentials, or expressive identity. Synthetic-media disclosures appear where a reasonable viewer will encounter them.

Corrections and updates

Material errors receive a visible correction note explaining what changed and when. Routine freshness updates change the updated date and source record. We preserve enough version history to audit material market and performance claims.

Commercial separation

Advertising and sponsorship must be labeled in plain language near the relevant content. Commercial compensation does not buy an undisclosed conclusion. Affiliate methodology and compensation are disclosed beside affected links.
